The Drummoyne Art Trail (DAT) has run two test trails with a guided and self-paced walk. it started at Glaze Galleria, to Julie Peadon Art, the FINEPRINTCO light box gallery in the Formosa Street Shared Space and FINEPRINTCO on Victoria Road. The walk ends at the Drummoyne Markets at St Bede's Church, where there were artist talks and free pottery and painting workshops.
DAT also included cultural places of interest and local public art including;
The City of Canada Bay has a place-based approach to public arts and cultural development. Each project is developed with local knowledge, in partnership with key stakeholders to create meaningful installations and activities in a range of localities. The map on the Council’s webpage highlights the DAT businesses and artists, as well as other public art and cultural areas of interest in the local community.
Future Art Trails will encompass even more studios and art exhibitions in Drummoyne.
